Just announcing that Leah & I have posted our SGABigBang story Enthrall on our joint Live Journal account, Leahwoof.

Enthrall is an SGA AU McShep story, sequel to our prior SGABigBang story, Aegis. Both stories are long, contain sexually explicit M/M scenes, and violence. These stories are Leah & my AU version of Seasons 1 & 2 of Stargate: Atlantis.

"Well, I can," he replied, still not giving up the remote.
At my huff of frustration, he said: " Why don't you ever say anything directly? Just say 'give me the remote.' God! Just like a woman."

7:33am: Another couple of scenes from that WIP I Am Not Writing....
So, I'm working on that Aegis sequel with Leah (in response to Sealie's request here), and on that prompt from kensieg, as well as some other projects of my own, when another chunk of this saga got lodged in my brain, and nothing else was coming forth until it got out of the way.



This portion is X-Files crossed with Due South crossed with Highlander (eventually to be crossed back with the SG-1 part of the story I posted earlier). The premise is from Highlander, the setting is from Due South, as are some of the characters, and I've borrowed some characters from X-Files (extra points to you if you can guess who they are!)



I've never written in any of those fandoms before except SG-1 (and that bitty little Dief-ficlet for DS). Please tell me the truth about how well I managed the Fraser and Kowalski voices….



Title: (are you kidding? I don't even have a *plot*!) also, definitely a WIP

Pairing: eventually Fraser/Kowalski in my hindbrain, but right now Gen, Gen, Gen

Warnings: some (hopefully vivid) violence. Also, this is a first draft that has never even dreamed of seeing a beta.

Hi folks! I'm on the East Coast of the US, and recently I heard for the first time what I suspect is a bit of regional idiom. I was wondering if anyone was familiar with it and whereabouts it was from.

The phrase was: "There I was, wearing the bear's underwear..."

where "bear's underwear"" = bare-assed = naked

anybody know where that's from? I've never heard it before....

(for the non-native American English speakers: there is a pun at play, because "bear" and "bare" sound the same although they mean very different things)
